HTA Group Goes Live with Epicor 10 ERP

In addtion to significant investment in state of the art manufacturing technology, HTA have now completed the implementation of a new ERP system called Epicor 10.

The new system has now gone live and replaces three existing software packages giving HTA a completed integrated IT solution accross all areas of the business. Epicor has the inbuilt capability to meet the needs of the business due to handling both 'Make to Order' and 'Make to Stock' requirements, and has significant inbuilt flexibility to customise the system and business processes as required.

The implementation process was made possible by working closely with our chosen external partners and internal implementation team from each area of the business. We successfully designed, built, tested and continue to refine and improve the processes that allowed us to achieve transition from our previous disjointed systems into a fully integrated ERP system.

Epicor has a vast array of system functionality that will support the needs of the business in driving forward improvements in people, quality, velocity and cost using a common platform.

The system efficiently handles the complete process from BOM and BOO creation enabling product cost estimation, order and demand management for both make to order and make to stock, engineering change control and routings, production planning and control using MRP and scheduling, shop floor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure live monitoring and reporting of manufacturing progress, inventory management of purchased and manufactured parts, shipping and finance.

HTA is now EDI enabled, both inbound and outbound, ensuring we can meet the demands of our customers in an ever demanding marketplace.

The system also has extensive reporting capability which supports continuous improvement actvities.

HTA believe the significant investment made in hardware, software and training will enhance our ability to serve our growing customer base and ensure that we can meet and surpass their expectations.
